GAME 2 - Graveyard

[ You find yourself in the balcony area of the auditorium. You can see what's happening on stage (backstage is a separate issue), but it doesn't seem like you have much liberty in moving around.

There's a door, but it only leads to a small hallway. At least there's also a buffet table there, and doors to bathrooms! The elevators aren't responding to anything, nor will the fire exit door budge. You're still stuck!

As for seeing the proceedings backstage, you'll find some black and white TVs on the floor in the balcony. They're all conveniently plugged, and each TV shows a different room. Feel free to make your own commentary on the proceedings! ]

[Well. At least it's not death, that's... a positive, right? But damn if she isn't pissed knowing she was the first ousted, that's a major failure in her book.

But she's going to flop down in one of the seats and put her feet up on the back of the chair in front of her, not even bothering with manners anymore.]

Well, this blows.

[ No, that is -not- a positive. No doubt that his schemes back in Toontown have fallen apart without him, and delaying his departure from this place as opposed to simply slaying him... ]

[She'd rather like to go home herself, but wanting death is a little... over the top, isn't it, Doom? But hey, she's sure her teammates can make do without her for a little while if they do get returned at the end of this mess. Spartan pride or something.]

Would you rather a living hell with TVs that are hideously out of date and watching a shitshow? Because that might be a more apt description. [Agitation obvious once she starts adding in the swears.]

[ As opposed to being tormented with thoughts of his cronies screwing up his scheme and going back home to an eventual arrest? Death would be far more tolerable. ]

Perhaps. [ There's a pause. ] I am not an avid viewer of spectator sports.

[... He has a point, at least her teammates are competent at these things.]

I can't say I am, either. Doing things is more my style. [Particularly given sports aren't exactly something she's familiar with on a doing level anyway.]

A self-starter. [ There's a pause. ] I have business to attend to back in the city, myself. This is not a valuable situation for me to be stuck in.

You know, I was hoping this would take us home, not... leave us waiting here.

[ Then again, that is what that weird thing said would happen, so is it such a big surprise? Hans sighs. No point in keeping up a nice guy ruse when he's been "killed," so to speak. ]

If we get fed more of those samurai dogs, I'm seriously going to consider an all-rice diet.

[ Does he even have his cellphone on him?? He still hasn't beaten snake! ]

[After having a look around the area to ensure there is NO ESCAPE, York sits down with a sigh. And lights a cigarette, while he's at it. It's actually pretty amazing that he still has any left.]

No Lethal Weapon for us, Zach. Maybe when the game ends...

[Bruce had helped around to look for any way to leave as well, and when there's apparently no way to get out Bruce can't help but panic just a little. It's not as if he's actually had the best history of being locked up against his will.

He mostly manages to calm down after exploring a bit more and seeing the facilities provided. Whoever is keeping them here, at least they're making sure they're kept well... which is something of a good thing, he supposes. It could always be worse.

Still, he is a bit shaken as he settles down besides York, taking in a breath to steady himself.]

I wonder what is the use of still keeping us here.

It must have something to do with wherever this game is going. If we're still here, it's because we're still needed.

I suppose. But we haven't really heard anything either...

[Not to mention there's not much they can do here as well. Damn.]

The kidnappers wouldn't just let us rot in here. It wouldn't be consistent with the way they've been behaving at all.

[amygdalae]

[Bruce gives a hum of agreement. That's true, but still... he can't quite tell what their intended endgame is. And the fact he doesn't know anything still grates at him more than ever.]

Until then, all we can do is try to pass the time. Don't you agree, Bruce?

[amygdalae]

There's not much else we can do right now.

[Not being able to do much doesn't entirely sit well with Bruce... but it is probably the best course of action right now.]

[Eying the edge of the balcony like he's seriously estimating ways he might try jumping from it.]

[trenchdoting]

[Gumshoe is wailing on the balcony and looks like he's in the verge of tears.]

It's all over for me, pals!! This must be that big ol' balcony in the sky!
