GAME 2: Wolves

[ Each wolf will receive a text stating:
Now
Meet other wolves
Female's W.C.
3rd cubicle
Flush three times

They also have the option to reply to the message. (Ping me if this happens!)

And if they follow the instructions, the wall behind the cubicle will slowly reveal a ~ secret path ~ to a secret room.

Except, this room is also a washroom. But it looks pretty swag, like a hotel's bathroom. There's a bathtub, a shower, a toilet with a bidet, a HUGEass mirror, and the floor is carpeted. It seems like a pretty private place for you and your fellow wolves to plot in.

Have fun! ]

[Well, it's not like he's never handled expensive drugs equipment things before. He's careful as he holds the watch up to get a good look at the screen, the rapid rise and fall of his chest gradually slowing to match the steady rhythm of the little blip that pulses there. Pointing in the direction of the stage.

Or--]
The balcony.

[He swallows and looks up, holding the watch back out to Cabanela.]

Jesus. That was-- that was really smart, man. [He smiles shakily.] Nice work.

[Yup, he's slipping that watch back into his pocket where it belongs. As for the following remark, he manages a bit of a grimace and a shake of the head.]

I'm the Chief of Special Investigations, baby. I have to think on my feet. Now, I'm not saying this confirms their survival, but I had some of that glass covering my own arm on the first day and it turned out to be haaarmless. [Terrifying, but harmless in hindsight. His hand and arm are fine.]
yeahscience: ([flood] suit #3)

[personal profile] yeahscience 2015-04-26 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, only your arm didn't disappear afterwards.

[But, okay. He's calming down. He's calmer. He still has the cigarette stuck between two fingers, so he takes another drag and wipes the sweat from his brow with the other hand.]

Okay. So we're all good. And we can win tonight if we're careful, right?
inspectormacarena: (Ballerino)

[personal profile] inspectormacarena 2015-04-26 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
[That's a tough question. Cabanela's never had to suffer through a game quite like this before and he did the math several times, but he's still not sure he's got it right.]

In a way. If we can vote out one of the sheep teams during ousting, then take out another as wolves, there'll be only four left come morning. We need to cut them down to three teams, regaaardless of our own numbers, so even if they try to oust one of us tomorrow, they'd be powerless to stop the remaining wolves from ending the game. ... So yeeeah, if we can cast suspicion on one of their own teams tonight and they act on it, we'll have it in the bag.

So really tomorrow night, but it'd be like that-- that chess thing, right? Where you can win, like, ten moves in advance or whatever?

[Because hey it would be great if they could win, like, right now. Time to talk strategy.]

So who do we try to finger? That Dandy creep?
inspectormacarena: (Coupé)

[personal profile] inspectormacarena 2015-04-26 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
Teeempted as I am to do just that, I've heard speculation that our local detective duo might be wolves. They're easier targets for dirt slinging, too. Neither of them has any clue what's going on here, despite supposedly being employed by the police force that's "sponsoring" this whole shindig. [Which is very suspect either way, wolves or no wolves.]

Besiiides, Shades is taking the reigns an awful lot, demanding information left and right. One might almost think that this ain't his first rodeo.
yeahscience: ([4-5] rly)

[personal profile] yeahscience 2015-04-26 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
Okay. I can work with that, no problem. Not like it's gonna be hard to pretend like I don't trust the fuzz.

No offense.

[Some offense.]

[personal profile] inspectormacarena 2015-04-26 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
None taken. [...Some of it taken.]

Now, the trick is nooot to be pushy about this. And we still have no guarantee they won't go back on the first night's ousting just to play it safe. If I were in theeeir shoes, it's what I would do.
yeahscience: ([4-5] what about a--)

[personal profile] yeahscience 2015-04-26 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but if they do, we have Lockhart pin it on us, right? That's what you were gonna say before? Then they're like, "No way, can't be them, man, that's some mad desperation." Except, you know, what if it is us, right? Then it obviously can't be them.

That's if we can even do that without the signal getting all scrambled, though. Plus maybe they just kick all our asses out to be on the safe side.

[SEE, MR. WHITE, SOMETIMES HE GETS STUFF.]

[Nice try, Jesse, but there's one thing you're missing. It involves the rules.]

Ahh, but have you forgotten? One team cannot out another team. If they do, they'll be punished. If those two were to accuse us of being wolves for the sake of revealing the truth, there'd be cooonsequences. Therefore, if consequences don't happen, people will haaave to assume that they were lying. That we would, without a doubt, be sheep and we would be safe for the remainder of the game.

[This is the most underhanded, backwards and despicable ploy he's ever concocted, but that's why it's Plan Z instead of Plan A. Another reason it's Plan Z is, of course, the risk involved. Playing with fire means you might get burned.]

Now, why do I suspect consequences won't happen? Because the point wouldn't have been to reveal the truth, it would've been to hide the truth. All part of playing a mean little undercover game, which is exaaactly what our host wants from us. You got that, Mr. Baaadger? [He turns to cast a gaze towards the mirror, even if he doubts the badger will show his face again.]

...aha! That is a fantastic idea, if I do say so myself... I'm really rather surprised I didn't come up with it, even!

[AH... THERE GOES THE EGO...]

So, if we come under suspicion, we should make ourselves look absolutely as suspicious as possible... and then, we could theoretically have more people on the other side! I'm honestly as glad as anyone that the people who were... ah... taken weren't actually turned to glass, but if it's simply a matter of transportation, then I'm sure we could have people working to get out on both sides!
yeahscience: ([1-3] srsly?)

[personal profile] yeahscience 2015-04-26 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
...what? No. If someone starts going after you, you go after us.

[He gestures to himself and Cabanela.]

This shit is a Hail Mary, not a sacrifice play.

Right, that's what I meant, even though I have absolutely no clue what any of this has to do with Catholicism! I should hope that it doesn't come to that, but for all we know... anything can happen!
