In hostage situations, it is best to cooperate to any demands given, to alleviate any risk of death or torture. No one was coming to rescue us, and any attempts to find a way out all ended in failure.

If none of us had voted at all, what do you think would have happened to Justice-dono? Would he have been tortured before our eyes until we gave in? Or Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth, perhaps?
